Our project supports families who face various challenges. We would like to improve the life of one boy we work with in particlar. This youngster has brittle bone disease, and has had a number of fractures. We want to ensure that his family home is suitably adapted for his needs. The lounge has a slippery wooden floor, which he has slipped on before, causing painful and dangerous falls. We would therefore like funding to carpet this room in order to make it safer for him. You may have read about our hugely successful project, Talk Time. We work alongside schools and educational services to help children and young people who are experiencing emotional distress in their lives. The social and fun nature of these outings is so important for young people going through these difficulties. Read more »
