What we do: We give local children and young people with disabilities much-needed short breaks, so they can enjoy some time away from their normal lives, make new friends and just have fun.
The breaks give our children exciting new experiences and challenges, as well as helping them to develop important social skills.
Challenges we face: Because of the wide range of disabilities affecting our children, each break has to be arranged individually around the child and their family.
And we have to make sure we're offering the right kind of 'time out' for each family, which could be several days' holiday or maybe just giving the parents a break from their regular morning routine.
