My Action for Children (beta)

Removable minibus seat. We need our bus to be as flexible as we are.

What we needed: We would like to purchase a removable seat for our project's minibus.

We provide short breaks for disabled young people from our local community – exciting and stimulating time away from home when they can experience new things and make new friends. We can accommodate up to six children at a time at The Grove, but our minibus only has seats for five able-bodied passengers because of its wheelchair access space.

The difference it'll make: It sounds so simple, but this seat will make a huge difference to our young people, as it will mean they can go to local activities together, as a group, and without being limited to places we can reach by bus.

Being free to join in local clubs, sports and other community events is a really exciting part of their time away with us, and our minibus is essential to giving them that freedom.

We’re raising funds to cover the cost of the seat only – we already have seatbelts and clamps
