Parallel London is the world’s first fully inclusive mass participation run for all abilities.

No limits, no boundaries.

It will take place on Sunday 3rd September, at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, and will comprise events across 4 different distances - 100m, 1k, 5k and 10k.

How you take part is up to you: run it, walk it, or complete it in a wheelchair – you can even bring a buddy along take part with you!

Parallel London is an event for everyone, and we’re only interested in one question:

What’s Your Challenge?

What’s happening on the day?

There are four different challenge events to choose from, so there’s bound to be one that’s just right for you:
100m, 1km, 5km, 10km.

As well as the challenges themselves, there will also be a range of interactive environments to enjoy on the day, including Food & Drink, Assistive Technology, and the Arts.

It's set to be a fun, enriching, and unique day out for family and friends.

Who can sign up?

Anyone! That’s why Parallel London is so brilliant! Children under 5 can go free with an adult, two children can enter together, and there are even free places for carers.

Although everyone is welcome, we would especially like to encourage those with disabilities to enter, as well as anyone who might have first hand experience of disability.

One of the key reasons Parallel London is such an exciting event is its flexibility. Because of this there are some choices you’ll have to make when you fill in our registration form.

The following list shows how each place works.

  • For adults aged 17+
As normal, your registration entitles you to one place in one event. However, you may also participate with one child under 5 years of age, free of charge.
  • For children aged 5-16
Registration entitles a child to one place in one event, but they may be joined by another child aged 5-16 free of charge.
  • For carers/buddies
If you will be participating in Parallel London with a carer, then they do not need to register for their own full place. Likewise, if you are a carer then do not register separately – you can enter free of charge alongside the person whom you are accompanying.

To help support over 600 different services we provide to the UK’s most disadvantaged children, we ask each member of our Parallel London team to raise £150 in sponsorship. This amount is set for each registration, so if a participant is joined by additional people (as outlined above), the £150 total is shared across them.
