Swim Serpentine

Join us for Swim Serpentine – a one mile swim in the Serpentine, Hyde Park on 16th September 2017.

Swim Serpentine is a one-day open water swimming event held in Hyde Park, the Royal Park which was host to the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Thousands of swimmers will have the chance to swim a half mile, one mile or two miles in open water in this mass-participation event. This is a must-do event in the open water swimming calendar! Join our team for the 1 mile swim with one of our charity places.

Golden Bond Places

Entry for this incredible event is just £25. We ask all swimmers to raise a minimum of £250 to support the work of Action for Children. Entries must be received by July 27th

Own Place

Were you lucky enough to get your own place in the Swim Serpentine ballot? We would love you to join our team! There’s no minimum sponsorship and all you have to do to sign up is email challenge@actionforchildren.org.uk saying you’d like to join the Action for Children swimming team. Easy as that!

What we’ll give you

Our swimmers are a very special group of people so as a thank you for swimming for us, we offer the following support package:

  • Training guides and tips
  • Support from a dedicated local fundraiser
  • Regular updates
  • Information for your supporters
  • A post-race meeting point where we can congratulate you and your family and friends can meet you.

 

On the day

All your needs are catered for with heated changing rooms, dunk zone, pontoon start and finish, full water safety crew, hot tubs and exhibition area.
