I have been an Ambassador for around 9 months. It’s great being an Ambassador, going to different events and meeting lots of different people.
I recently had the chance to visit the Scottish Parliament for the first time. This was really interesting as I had only ever seen it from the outside. During the event I spoke to lots of people about my experience of being homeless.
I have also spoken to an audience of fundraisers at Byte Night. I was able to tell them a bit of my story, I have never spoken to an audience before. This was a bit scary but felt great afterwards especially knowing how important it was to tell people about the difficulties some young people have.
Because of the support I have had from Action for Children during a difficult time in my life as an Ambassador I feel I now have the chance to give something back to the organisation.
Keep up with everything our Young Ambassadors get up to here.
