Dawn Warwick

Dawn Warwick joined the Board of Trustees in January 2020.

Dawn started her career as a Research Assistant with the World Health Organisation, and subsequently qualified as a Social Worker in 1983. She is a social care specialist with 17 years Director level experience of leading services for adults and children with a strong focus on improvement programmes and service transformation.  

Passionate about achieving the best possible outcomes for service users within increasingly challenging financial circumstances, her strengths include the delivery of sizeable efficiencies and improved outcomes through commissioning and service review; focus on practice standards and the planning and delivery of culture change to support new and innovative ways of working.

Dawn opted to take early retirement in September 2018 to work more flexibly, independently and to train at Henley Business School as an Executive Coach. She is currently coaching both public and private sector aspirant senior managers and recently joined the Kingston University Student Mentoring programme, Beyond Barriers. Dawn is a member of the advisory Board of GRIT, a charity that works with vulnerable young people.
